The mission of EHWA is to develop and maintain a comprehensive network of education, research and support for the basic needs of all equines that allows them a life of dignity. EHWA supports scientific research to improve the welfare of all equine athletes and works closely with the expert racetrack practitioners and researchers at the North American Association of Racetrack Veterinarians (NAARV) to ensure proper veterinary protocol and standards are continuously being met.
